Chess 

The chess game is believed to have originated in India in the sixth century. We find evidence of this game in the Gupt Empire. The game was known as Chaturanga in the sixth century.

In the seventh century, chess was played in different ways in the Persia . The Queen could move only one step in all directions. The bishop could also move only one step diagonally.   In 1996, the match between Deep Blue(super computer) and World Champion Garry kasparov was won by Garry kasparov


Board 

Chess is a board game. This game is played by two players. The board consists of 64 squares 32 white 32 black A player has 16 pieces each player .The game always starts with a white piece.

Chess for Good health

Chess can keep our mental health good. Playing chess increases the ability to think quickly, the ability to make decisions, memory and cognitive ability. According to scientists, playing Chess increases attention, concentration and mental health. By chess we can also remove our daily stress and tension .

Chess game objective

The main objective of the chess is to checkmate  the king, in which the king cannot move anywhere. In the Persian language it is also called SHAH – MAAT.


Setup of Board

The chess board consists of 8 Rows and 8 columns, with a total of 64 squares. The board is always made of dark and light colors. Row has abcdefgh at the bottom and 12345678 in the column. The white king is placed in the dark square at e. Rook at both corners The knight is kept near the rook and the bishop near the knight.The queen is kept near the king. The Queen is placed on the right hand of the Black King and on the left hand of the White King. 8 pawn are placed in the front line.

Move of pieces
KING

King – king can move any side but one square. One special move known as castling(with rook),king can not move attacking square.
QUEEN


Queen- The Queen can move verticality, diagonally, Horizontally direction.(+,× Direction)

Rook – The rook can move vertically and horizontally direction also move in castling with king.(+ Direction)


Bishop – The bishop can move diagonal direction.
Knight

Knight – The Knight can move 2 and half square ,two square in + direction and one square horigental or vertical direction.

PAWN

Pawn - The pawn may move 1 and 2 squares in the beginning. The pawn can only move 1 square later and bit the diagonally doth side,pawn can not move back side .Two special move en passant and promotion.

Castling - At which time there should be no peace between the king and the rook. 
During the check no castling
No move in actual position of rook and king

Right side -The white king moves his two square right side and the rook placed his two square beside.
Left side - The white king moves his two square left side and the rook placed his right side three square beside.
